Scout Scotland have planned a week long Jamboree for during the Summer at Lochgoilhead, which offers excellent outdoor activities including some great water sports.

About the event

Following the success and excitement of Cubs 100, Lochgoilhead National Activity Centre is hosting ScotJAM – its first ever jamboree exclusively for Cubs – between 17-21 July.

This action-packed week promises lots of fun and outdoor adventure. Your Cubs will be out on the water, exploring the forest and trying their hand at some bushcraft, earning badges from morning to night … and throughout the night!

All activities will be led by professionally qualified instructors, and the Cubs will be well looked after by an experienced team.

What to expect

Loads of opportunities to earn badges, including water sports badges and more.
Professional, in-depth instruction on a range of land- and water-based activities
The chance to try lots of water sports, from kayaking to power boating
Bushcraft sessions
Evening entertainment including games

Lots of fresh air and outdoor adventure in the forest, hills and water

Getting there

There will be mini-buses running for Cubs travelling without a group. Mini-buses will be picking up and dropping off at the following locations:

Edinburgh
Glasgow
Stirling
Dundee

Specific details will be provided at the time of booking.

Costs

The camp costs £225 per Cub, and the price includes indoor accommodation, activities and all catering.
A deposit is needed to book your place.
£45 deposit per individual
20% deposit required per group.
The camp is open to both groups and individual Cubs.
